Your name is Becca Shim. Living in relatively progressive Seattle filled your 2011 with personal activism. Sometimes in dissent and sometimes in support, you rallied around an array of causes that spoke of urgency and possibility. Time magazine named The Protester the person of the year and you wanted to be a part of that. However, your habitual avoidance of pepper spray and public drumming had you occupying places and things other than Wall St and acting on your own fight-the-power convictions with varying consequences.
Not wanting to be bound by geography, time or reality, you decided to start off big and:
