Always being an advocate of the use of data and proven statistics, you decide to prove an oft-repeated statistic correct. Since most automobile accidents take place within close proximity to your house, you wait until you are 1.5 miles away from home before getting your tire stuck in a pothole and crashing your bike into a parked car.

A couple grand and a healing scar later, you:

a) hop back in the time machine to try to undo the harm (go to page 11).
b) chalk it up to a life experience and try to reconcile things with the cops (go to page 15).
